iPhone 11 Pro Overview:

Many of you are familiar with The iPhone 11 Pro name, now I will give you a little overview about iPhone 11 pro. So mainly what's new is Apple's really focused on, four major things for this new iPhone so the design barely the new display slight upgrade the battery life major and these new cameras. So the design does grow on you not gonna lie we saw those renders and the models and nobody thought they were pretty including me but as usual getting them in your hand and actually looking at them in person is a different thing and it doesn't look horrible. The design of the Apple is crafted for the iPhone 11 pro camera bumps in a camera square and yes it rocks slightly when it's on a table Apple does say that this is quote the toughest glass in any smartphone. I'm not gonna test that but let's be real glass is glass so you definitely want to protect it or at least try not to drop it it probably still will shatter but the good news is it doesn't seem to scratch as much as the pixel 3 is a matte black glass that this reminded me of so the matte finish and the camera layout are the only really new things back here with the design if it comes down to it if you don't want to have to think about it anymore or just want to avoid any chance of fingerprints or scratches.
What's actually different apples said they've improved face ID to be up to 30% faster in the same space and work at a larger variety of angles.
iPhone 11 Pro

The iPhone 11 actually has a larger display than the iPhone 11 Pro, but it’s lower quality: iPhone 11: 6.1-inch Liquid Retina, one thousand, seven hundred and ninety-two x eight hundred and twenty-eight iPhone 11 Pro: 5.8-inch Super Retina XDR, two thousand, four hundred and thirty-six x one thousand, one hundred and twenty-five iPhone 11 pro Max: 6.5-inch super Retina XDR, two thousand, six hundred and eighty-eight x one thousand, two hundred and forty-two maybe even more significantly, the iPhone 11 uses LCD tech, while the two pro models use superior OLED tech. We haven’t yet tested the phones, so we can’t describe how these displays actually look. The Pro models will bring deeper blacks and more brilliant colors, and simply look stunning.
Apple says its both the fastest CPU and GPU in a smartphone, with an advanced neural engine, machine learning accelerators, and Core ML3, all of which add up to an most powerful chip that is use in laptop not in mobile phone. The upshot is we should expect pretty much the same excellent performance from all three phones (notwithstanding any small differences resulting from the A13 driving different display resolutions). Apple is overplaying the new triple-camera exhibit on the iPhone 11 Pro models, yet the double camera focal point on the iPhone 11 is the genuine article: iPhone 11 Camera 1: 12MP wide, f/1.8, OIS Camera 2: 12MP ultra wide, f/2.4, 120-degree FOV iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max Camera 1: 12MP wide, f/1.8, OIS Camera 2: 12MP fax, f/2.0, OIS, 2x optical zoom camera 3: 12MP ultra wide, f/2.4, 120-degree FOV The conspicuous distinction is the expansion of the fax camera on the iPhone 11 Pros.
But that’s measuring from how far out the camera zooms, so you’re really only getting the same 2x zoom as before. The triple-camera system in the iPhone 11 pro is more than just an extra lens, however they push it even further, pairing the three cameras and calibrating them. As far as video, all three phones record in 4K at up to 60fps, and feature audio zoom (which focuses the microphone on your subject as you zoom).

iPhone 11 Pro Camera Reviews:

Last year with the release of the iPhone 10 R and 10s, the surprising differences in pictures between the two phones all the main camera lens hardware was the same across the devices the cheaper ten are packed just the one single camera lens around back. The 10s had an additional telephoto lens for a dual camera setup and ultimately that meant that not only were there certain limitations with the 10r you couldn't take portrait pics of objects or animals. For example but in certain shooting modes particularly with portrait pictures the results between the phones were vastly different so different in fact that I felt the ten-hour pictures almost made me unrecognizable in certain situations.
The iPhone 11 Pro which is the upgrade to the 10s while both of these phones received major camera hardware and software updates and they both got an additional wide-angle lens the cheaper iPhone 11 once again lacks that telephoto lens. While the 11 Pro has it's Apple improved the portrait picture software that produces the images for the iPhone 11 and if I'd end up looking sort of not like myself with the end result again and that's what we're gonna talk about in this video I'm also gonna show some side-by-side samples of all of the other picture and video modes too. So you can see for yourself if there's any difference at all between these phones when taking regular old pictures too so first things first let's talk about the hardware here. What you get with each phone now around back both of these phones have the exact same 12 megapixel F 1.8 aperture 26 millimeter main camera lens with all the same features including dual pixel phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilization. And what all that means is that if you pull either of these phones out of your pocket and just snap a simple picture of the same subject in the same setting.

The camera app you'll also find the exact same shooting modes settings controls and features as well both phones offer the same night mode that also produces the same result I saw some people suggesting for whatever reason that the telephoto lens somehow improves night mode on the 11pro. I just was never able to see any sort of a difference you can shoot panoramas of course and time lapses and you can edit photos all the same way on both phones. For the regular picture taking you're getting the same stuff whether you spend six hundred dollars on the iPhone 11 or a thousand dollars or more on the 11pro and honestly that's probably enough for most people for video. Once again if you're just shooting regular old video you're gonna be seeing the same result - both phones can shoot 4k at 60fps and super slow-mo videos at 1080p 240 FPS. I said if you just pull your phone out of your pocket and take a standard video or a slow-motion video it doesn't matter what device you have either the 11 and the 11 Pro the results will be exactly the same now in regards to the new secondary lens that you'll find on these devices that's a 12 megapixel F 2.4 aperture 13 millimeter ultra wide shooter and once again that's the same hardware paired with the same software features across both phones.
You'll see the results here are exactly the same which is to be expected so hopefully you're still with me so far the main camera lens and the ultra wide camera lens on the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro are the same hardware that are paired with the same software and features no matter what pictures or videos you take the results will be exactly the same this brings us to that third lens that's found only on the iPhone 11 Pro it's a 12 megapixel F 2.0 aperture telephoto lens this is a zoom lens that not only allows for a clearer shot when zooming in from a distance. But it's also the secondary hardware lens that comes into play when taking portrait mode pictures.

iPhone 11 Pro vs iPhone 11:

The real differences between the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro so here it is as well as:
  • If you're a fan of colors you get a lot more options on the iPhone 11 while the 11pro is a bit more limited but the new midnight green color is much nicer than I expected on the back.
  • They get a new unique square bump that's machined out of a single sheet of glass with the 11 getting two circular camera bumps while the 11 Pro gets a nicely arranged three bumps that in my opinion scream premium more on those cameras in just a minute.
  • The matte glass back looks really nice on the 11pro while the 11 gets a glossy back with matte on the square bump I personally love the smooth finish on the 11 pro's matte glass which is also very fingerprint and micro scotch resistant but others may not like how slippery it is and they may prefer the iPhone 11 for the extra grip in the hand the 11pro.
iPhone 11 Pro vs 11 Pro

  • Also has a glossy stainless steel frame which feels very grippy and premium but it's more susceptible to micro scratches while the regular 11 has an aluminum frame that Apple has been using since the iPhone 6 but if you like to use a case with your iPhone the difference in feel won't matter with last year's.
  • iPhone the 10r was noticeably thicker than the 10s but this year the 11pro got a bit thicker so you won't really notice a big difference in your hand like you did last year the 11pro comes in two sizes 5.8 inches which I personally feel is too small and 6.5 inches which is nice for the large display but a bit uncomfortable to hold in your hand so in my opinion the 6.1 inch size of the iPhone 11 is actually the perfect. In the hand the iPhone 11 features the exact same LCD display from last year's 10r with less than 1080p resolution which is a bummer but you can't really tell with regular use unless you pixel peep or watch a very high quality video it's got the same true tone technology in excellent color accuracy with p-3 wide color gamut the iPhone 11 pros display has a much higher resolution a much better contrast ratio.
  • This year the main difference is that you can't watch high-quality HDR content on the regular eleven and you'll have more trouble seeing the display when you're outside in broad daylight the benefit of the iPhone 11 pros OLED display is that using dark mode or a darker wallpaper will actually save battery life because the individual pixels emit their own light and can actually turn off completely when displaying black one of the biggest downsides with last year's iPhone 10 R was that it didn't get 3d touch like on the 10s. But this year even the 11 Pro doesn't get it anymore now the one display difference that matters the most to me is that the display bezels on the 11 are noticeably larger than the ones on the 11 Pro which already seem large compared to other phones.
  • This year is that the iPhone 11 Pro actually comes with an 18 watt fast charger in the box instead of the super old and slow 5 watt charger with the iPhone 11 now if the slow 5 watt charger is keeping you from buying the 11 it shouldn't it actually supports the same exact fast charging speed as the 11 Pro you just have to buy the fast charger separately which unfortunately is about $30 from Apple thankfully you can buy a charger with the same exact 18 watts of fast charging speed for only $16.
  • The iPhone 11 pro and the pro Macs in just two words they would be battery life my 11 pro max is the first phone I've ever had where I can do literally anything on my phone and no longer have to even think about battery life it's so great that I've actually stopped checking it throughout the day now the battery life on the 11 isn't as good but it's still rated for an extra hour over the 10 R which already had better battery life than last year's iPhone 10s max so it's still pretty great the iPhone 11 pro also gets better water resistance lasting 30 minutes.
